Are you ready to learn the insider secrets it takes to break through the barriers of the music business?

Every time in my career that I’ve been compelled to take on a new music management client, I remember what it was like when I was first learning about the business. It seemed like you couldn’t get anywhere without connections, and the industry often made me feel like I was banging my head against a wall. I wrote my book to share those quick tips and secrets that took me ten years to learn, and the feedback I’ve heard from artists and their managers has been phenomenal.
So many people have asked me to take these ideas further, I’ve decided to pilot a new course this spring that lets me get hands-on with a small group of new artist managers. This course takes the ideas from my book even further, pinpointing seven crucial skills that every new music manager needs to be effective at developing their artists and building a profitable music business.
Are you ready to invest eight weeks in the long term success of a musician?

In my book, I write about how many of the most impactful and influential music managers of all time had little to no “industry experience” when they started directing the careers of artists. All you really need is the basic skills you learned from school and the street smarts you’ve picked up from your current career.
The course plays out over eight weeks of live conference calls hosted by me, in which we’ll discuss the specific actions you can take to build critical music business skills. I’ve identified seven elements that have made music managers successful, and we’ll talk about how you can use their examples to propel your own artists forward. Our final call sets the stage for a specific action plan that you’ll use to help your artists enjoy their best summer ever. We’ll even get together on a special bonus call in August to see how you’ve put everything you learned to work.
Are you ready to jumpstart your own music management career?

This is the part where everybody says I’ve gone nuts.
Here’s the deal. A few years back, I stumbled upon an opportunity to take what I’ve done in the music and media worlds and put them to work at a great company. I love what I do now, but I still like to cultivate new talent within the music business. My selfish motive for leading this course is that I want to make sure there are always great new bands for me to enjoy. All I need to do is charge just enough to ensure that our participants are really invested in the ideas that we’re going to talk about over the next few months, and to cover the cost of developing all of the new material for this course.
That’s why your investment in this eight-week course is just $97.
To make this work, we can only take twelve people into this spring’s group. More than that, and we can’t have the kind of tight, focused discussion that drives your learning forward. Even better, you’ll be part of a tight group that will grow and support each other over time.
UPDATE: This spring’s Boot Camp has already started, but you can still play along with our “podcast edition” subscription! You’ll gain access to the same members’ area as our live participants, and you’ll get access to each week’s call recording when it’s published. Best of all, you’ll save $50!
Click here to catch this spring’s remaining sessions in podcast format, for $47.
It’s been a few years since I was able to do anything like this, and our last group inspired me to write a book about talent booking strategies called More Gigs Now. That’s the kind of power that a group like this can have on your career, and it may be a while before I have the time to devote to a group like this again.
I hope we have the chance to work on your music business success together!
Sincerely,
Joe Taylor Jr.
